If hypopigmentation is the result of using tetracycline (an antibiotic) or if there has been any kind of artificial dental interference in natural teeth, then there is a possibility that the effect will not be as spectacular. Artificial materials are less susceptible to whitening but still lighten during the treatment.

Are there visible whitening effects on crowns, dental lacquer and other artificial dental materials?

Bleaching is not as effective on crowns, dental lacquers and heterogeneous fillings.

Are there any side effects?

The side effects that may occur after teeth whitening are temporary sensitiveness of teeth or temporary gum irritation.

Yes. Scientific research, carried out over many years show, that bleaching is safe and effective.

How long will my teeth stay white?

This depends on the individual habits and the porosity of teeth. The desired effect usually lasts from 6 months to 2 years. The procedure can be repeated two months after the first treatment.
