The gel is applied evenly to the surface of the teeth and then activated by light emitted from a lamp. The treatment involves three 15-minute light exposure cycles, so the total duration is approximately 45 minutes. In just one visit, teeth can be whitened by as much as 10–16 shades, and the results can last for up to two years.

Premium lamp by Beyond It emits intense blue light with a wavelength ranging from 480 to 520 nanometres. The beam passes through an advanced filtering system comprising 12,000 optical fibres, which removes unwanted ultraviolet and infrared radiation. The light, prepared in this way, activates the active ingredient contained in the gel, helping to remove discolouration accumulated on the enamel and in the dentine. This method is particularly recommended for people with more pronounced tooth discolouration, caused, amongst other things, by diet, smoking or taking certain antibiotics.

The low temperature enhances patient comfort during the procedure and reduces the risk of temporary tooth sensitivity. Before starting the whitening process, the specialist rules out any contraindications and determines the initial shade of the teeth using a colour chart. Once the procedure is complete, the resulting colour is compared, and the client is given recommendations regarding a ‘white diet’.
